Something i would find rather useful for this mod would to have E-Mail notification to admin of newly registered members who are flagged as potential spammers, and a message to them after registration stating their account will be disabled instantly as it has been flagged as a potential spamming account?

I don't really understand what you mean.

If mod httpBL find somebody is a spammer it doesn't let them inside the whole forum (never mind registering).

The mod that stop them from registering is mod Stop Spammer.

Could you explain it a little more to see if I get exactly what you mean?

Thinking a little more about it maybe I understand now what you mean.

Let's see if this is what you are talking about:

When a visitor is inside PHP's (Project Honey Pot) database but their threat level is not too high (or the last time they were doing something wrong was too long ago) the mod let them pass. Or if their threat level is in between the high one and the very very high one, the mod show them a captcha to prove they are human and, if they prove that, the mod let them pass.

Maybe what you are suggesting is, if any of those things happen, the mod should flag these visitors as "suspicious" so if just after entering the forum they go and register inside it, they won't get a normal "clean" registration (as a normal user) but they will get inside the forum still flagged as "potential spammer". (And then, email the admin and warn them they are going to be watched).

If this is what you are suggesting, it's not a bad idea at all.

The only problem is it will be very easy to do that for SMF 2.0 (and the new fork some people are doing for SMF) but very difficult to do for SMF 1.1.x

As you may already know, the fork for SMF won't be public until SMF 2.0 finish the RC status and finally goes gold.

And SMF 2.0 won't be gold until all the legal papers are finished.

I am not really sure what I am going to do, but more likely, as soon as SMF 2.0 goes gold and the new fork is ready I will stop coding for SMF 1.1.x and will continue coding only for SMF 2.0 and for the new fork.

So maybe I will implement this new feature in the mod, but I don't think I will do it for SMF 1.1.x

Anyway, things are changing so quickly lately that anything can happen.

Well...

I got my mods here and they have been here for years. And they are mine.  Everybody knows it.

Of course, if anybody ever do to me what they did to Nao or Arantor I would be really very very angry.

What did they do to Nao and Arantor?  I am curious since I have been waiting 3 months for my FF mod to get approved?

Inside there you will find more links again.

Also googleing a little you will find a lot more.

I did and it looks like they are mad about policy but I do not see personal reasons besides ideology?
