Photo upload and display problem

Hi

I've been trying to upload a photo - experimenting.  I reduced its size to under 2 wotsits, and it seemed to upload - it appeared, but when I went to the next stage to put it in my album it disappeared.
I've tried several times to no avail.

I have a few photos to scan and would like to upload them eventually - any ideas on what I'm doing wrong please?

I wrote the program to uploads photographs, so I know exactly the limits of the program.

You cannot upload a file more than 2048 Kb (that's 2 Mb) of size.

Also you can't upload a photograph with more than 2048 pixels in width or height.

I don't understand what do you mean with:

"I reduced its size to under 2 wotsits"

I don't know what is a "wotsit". I never heard about it.

Can you send me the photo you are trying to upload by email?

I will take a look at it and I will tell you what is wrong.

I'm sorting, scanning and reducing them.    I wish I still had the really old ones, when Tommy had his little dog "Tommy 2".   Damn that fire!    I have one or two which were in a packet the police brought to us long after the fire.  They said it was the only thing they could find in the rubble of our apartment.  Those are from 1993, I think, when Tommy was at the Buffalo, at Puerto Colon.  Others are from Soul Seller(1998) at the end of Veronicas, Playboy (1997, Lizards(2000), the cafe near where the little train used to stop (Waterloo, I think - 1999), and from his own bar which was just opposite Lizards (that was 1996).

I still don't know exactly what problem you have uploading the photos.

Please let me know (here or by email) what's exactly what you are doing and I will tell you what's wrong or send me the photos and I will upload them myself.

My husband is (slowly) scanning the pics and reducing their size, so perhaps when they're all ready I'll have more success.  If not I'll  e-mail you Snoopy!   :-)
